REPENT!

by Kurt Schanaman

Before Islamic attacks get started in earnest, here is my message to the people of my country, whether anyone wants to hear it or not. Here is what I know about the situation we as a nation find ourselves in.
I AM going to be frank and truthful. The following words are going to be difficult to hear. Especially for Christendom.
All throughout scriptures, we see how the Creator deals with nations and people who have departed from His ways. He ALWAYS begins with people who claim He is their God but thumb their noses at His instructions, holy days, and commandments. That, today, is not only Judaism (which has become secular rather than orthodox) AND those calling themselves 'His church'.
You have departed from His calendar, His appointed holy days, His law. You have used Paul's writings in a twisted fashion to make the claim His ways are no longer relevant to you. Thus, though you FEEL emotionally in your heart that He is with you on your defense, He is NOT. You are merely experiencing brain chemicals produced from upbeat song and dance during 'praise services'. You try to offer praise to Him, but then in your everyday affairs you denounce His ways. You shun those who have tried to lovingly warn you. It has been to no avail.
Lip service without a heart of loving sacrifice through willful obedience to His Instructions. You have turned your ears from hearing of His law (instructions for living) and, as such, even your prayers to Him are an abomination.
I have seen and experienced the demons of abortion, homosexuality, sexual misconduct, pride, envy, boastfulness, anger, hatred, and murder. Some of those have even been successful against me. But I have seen the deception, have treated myself harshly in my own failings with much sadness and despair. But the majority do not for their own wrongs against Him.
Because of open rebellion against His ways, He began His warnings on 9/11/2001, and an economic warning in fall of 2008 (recall the Dow fell 777 points... who's number is that? Who's signature???) Yet His people continued in rebellion against His ways. Their prayers powerless against evil. Legalized abortion continued. Abominable genetic sciences continue unabated... an affront to His created beings. Homosexual marriage has been legalized, even tolerated among young 'church people'... again, another abomination against His created order.
And the powerlessness of their prayers continue, as even those prayers are an abomination to Him. For the people are filled with the spirit of law-less-ness.
"GRACE ONLY! THE LAW IS DEAD!!", they chant proudly, living lives of unbridled permissiveness and licentiousness (license to transgress).
"And we will escape the judgment in rapture!", they proclaim. Oh, but they WILL NOT!!
YAHUAH, ADONAI TSABAOTH (Master over the Hosts) has removed His hand of merciful government leadership. In its place He has established for the nation an enemy no one is permitted to cut down. It will remain.
Through it, He has opened your borders to an enemy who will spill your blood. They will terrorize you (constant threat) and will eat your substance (illegal immigrants being given your tax money, social security money, retirement money). They will establish foreign laws over your land and extort you (Obamacare, etc). In so doing, you will be plundered and pillaged to oblivion. The giver has given, but now the giver will take it away.
The soil beneath your feet will open to swallow you and your possessions in various places much more frequently. The sun of an age of mercy sets in the West and the night of reckoning now arrives. Something NEW can be heard coming in the East.
You spent billions on entertainment and comforts while countless millions have shivered in the cold, gone to bed hungry, been slaughtered by their enemies with no way to defend themselves, clothe themselves, feed themselves.
Behold the rider 'DEATH' now rides.
What can you possibly do? REPENT!!
REPENT does not mean asking for forgiveness, only to then continue refusal to live His instructions willfully and in love. It does not mean 'to be sorry' only. But rather to return to living HIS INSTRUCTIONS and getting others to join you in doing so. Those instructions are all found from Genesis through Deuteronomy. Add THOSE instructions to the ones you already know from what Yeshua Messiah taught.
But do not obey those instructions with the attitude they are meant to buy you any brownie points from Him. Your heart should want to live them out of thanksgiving BECAUSE OF THE MERCY AND GRACE HE HAS ALREADY SHOWN YOU. Obey out of respect and love for the One who tells your heart to beat and your lungs to breathe. Those gifts from Him are alone WORTHY of absolute love and gratitude. Remember the comforts and warm meals He has made you capable of obtaining. Remember the times of plenty. A grateful heart over these GIFTS is a loving heart that WANTS to obey His desires. His instructions for living and worshiping Him.
You must surrender entirely to Him, dying to your desires and wants. Replacing them with fulfilling HIS DESIRES AND WANTS. And it must be a true change of heart. Not out of fear, but out of love for Him in spite of the challenges now coming upon a judged nation.
He may likely have to destroy the U.S.A. because a majority will blame Him, mock Him, and criticize Him for being a 'cruel God' rather than repent. But those who will LOVINGLY obey, continuing to kneel to Him with absolute humility, and calling upon the name of His LAMB over them... YAHUSHA/YESHUA, such WILL BE protected and led out of His wrath.
ONLY the obedient, who also proclaim YAHUSHA/YESHUA as His sent Messiah, will make it through what has now come through the gates. No other.
REPENT, OBEY, LOVE YOUR ELOHIM!!
HE AWAITS A NUMBER WHO WILL WORSHIP HIM IN SACRIFICIAL LOVE AND IN TRUTH.
He... is... WAITING FOR YOU!!

The Consequences of Sin

by Tricia Pollok

We are responsible for the consequences of our sin.
One of the consequences of my personal sin was that my son developed autism. I accept that my rebellion resulted in my whole world changing, and evil touching, and nearly destroying my family.
Sin is defined in the first 5 books of Scripture, and John gives the New Testament readers a reminder of what it is. In 1 John 3:4, he says "Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness." Since most would agree that the Law is the Torah, if you disobey it, you are in sin.
Since I was disobeying it, I was in sin, even when I had good intentions, and thought I was loving Him with all my heart, I was still in rebellion, and I payed dearly for it. Fortunately, the depths of the pit I was in compelled me to cry out to Him, surrendering to whatever He told me to do. It was at that point, that He reached down and began to show me I was living my own way.
Sometimes He takes us to the pit of hell to show us His mercy. I was there, and I returned, and today, I am so grateful for that refining fire, and praise Him for His redemption and purpose for my life. He showed me His Truth through the demonic hell I went through with Jackson, because I wanted the Truth more than anything in my life. Do you desire the Truth more than ANYTHING? Are you willing to follow Him at ANY cost?
I no longer blame the enemy for Jackson's autism. Doors were opened in my life for attack because I was walking against His Ways. Is there evil in this world that contributed to his autism? Yes, there is. But my sin and the sin of this Nation, who has turned their back on Messiah Yeshua, the Torah in the Flesh, is to blame. YHVH is allowing that evil in our nation because of America's rebellion. I took responsibility, which lead to repentance. Most may feel blessed at this time, and think they are on the right path, believing they are worshiping the One True God, even while walking contrary to His Will, the Torah. I thought I was on the right path too...until I realized that He never changes. We cannot pick and choose from Scripture and define sin according to what we want it to be, and what fits in with our lifestyles. Stop fooling yourself. Stop blaming everyone else for the way our country is headed. Turn to Him.

Cult?

by Kimberly Murphy

I have to smile a little when people have said to me, " Are you sure you're not in some kind of cult?"
If by cult you mean being a part of thousands upon thousands of believers all over the world who sensed they were not getting the whole truth in their churches and began asking questions that were not getting honest biblical answers, then yes, I'm in a cult.
If by cult you mean people who broke out of their religious boxes, and whose eyes were opened to finally recognize that their Messiah and the disciples were not only Jews but also Torah observant even after Jesus died, and began to dig into the Hebrew roots of their Christian faith and begin to study and learn like the "early church" did in biblical times, and walk as the Savior walked then yes, lol... I'm in a cult. The "truth seeking" cult. And my leader? His name is Yahshua. (Jesus) wink emoticon
John 8:31-32
Then Yahshua (Jesus) said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in MY WORD, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

The Tower of Babel

by Tricia Pollok

"As I'm reading the Torah reading today, I am reminded that there is nothing new under the sun. In Genesis 11, man wanted to build a tower to the heavens, believing they were like Him...believing they could create and do anything they desired...
Today, man
1. modifies YHVH's seeds, making them genetically modified organisms (GMO's), desiring to "create" his own way of "life" that in reality leads to death.
2. believes another (elected) man can change the judgment that is a consequence for disregarding His Instructions (the Torah).
3. decides what the definition of male and female is and adapts marriage to suit their own preferences.
4. plays "God" by determining when life occurs and therefore when it can end.
5. redefines sin to accommodate his own lifestyle; including indulging in entertainment and doing his own pleasures even if it occurs on His Appointed Shabbats and Feasts, and when it interferes with his dietary indulgences and nostalgic traditions of men.
6. decided he can add or take away from what the Messiah came to do, making Him a god in his own image.
7. has forgotten that the adversary can transform into an angel of light, and can give man what he desires to continue his deceptions.
Those who worship "God" on the first day of the week, changing the 4th commandment, and believing the Messiah died to make them free to worship on their day and profane His Days are not worshiping the Elohim of Scripture, but a god of their own making. Those who eat things that have never been defined as food, therefore defiling their temples, are not worshiping the Elohim of Scripture. Those who believe they are worshiping Him on man-made worldly days never commanded in Scripture while ignoring His Appointed Times, are not worshiping the Elohim of Scripture. Those who create their own works while ignoring the Instructions He gave us to live by in His Word/Torah are not worshiping the Elohim of Scripture. Man believes they can worship Him any they please and think they are calling upon His Name, when in reality, they are worshiping a completely different messiah, one of their own making, and in their own image. Spiritually, the Tower of Babel is still being built".

Everyone Has a Story

                                                            posted by John Brantley
This evening as I was leaving Best Buy, I noticed this man going through the garbage can outside of the store. As I walked to my car I watched him as he reached in the garbage can and pulled out fast food trash bags and inspected all that was in the thrown away bags. He did this for several minutes. He would find a few fries in one bag and a bite or two of a hamburger in another bag. You can see the hamburger wrapper by his knee where he was placing the food items he'd found.
He never bothered anyone or tried to stop and beg for money as people entered and left the store. After he went through the entire trash can he neatly cleaned up the area and wrapped up the food he found in the dirty hamburger wrapper. My heart literally hurt for him. I am not someone who just hands out money or even helps homeless people because so many are not truly homeless. I don't guess I've ever seen someone actually go through a garbage can to try to find food to eat.
I knew I had to help him. I got out of my car and asked him if I could buy him something to eat. He told me he would appreciate anything I could get him. He was on a bike and I told him if he'd follow me I'd buy him a meal at the fast food place around the block. He followed me and I bought him the biggest meal they had on the menu. The only request he gave me for his order was if I could get him a big glass of sweet tea to go with his meal!
When I brought him his food, he was so thankful. He told me his name was Steve and he'd been homeless ever since his sister died last September. He was trying to get off the streets, but it was so hard. I told him God loved him and I would pray for him. He told me again how much he appreciated the meal.
When I got back in my car, I drove off with such a heaviness in my heart for this man. I drove down the road and felt compelled to go back to help this man. When I came back he had finished his meal and was riding away. I pulled up beside him and asked him if there was any way I could help him. He told me not really. He never asked me for money. I asked him if I could buy him a few meals and put it on a gift card for him. He told me that would be so kind. I drove to McDonalds and bought him some meals and gave him a gift card.
He broke down crying. He told me that he prayed for me today! I wasn't sure what he meant (I was assuming he was praying for me for what I did for him) so I thanked him. He said, "No, you don't understand. I prayed that God would send someone to buy me a hot meal today...and he sent you!" I didn't know what to say...I was speechless! Praying for a hot meal wasn't a prayer I had prayed today! Come to think of it, that's not a prayer I've ever prayed! I always pray over my food, but I've never prayed for a meal...its expected! I've never doubted that I wouldn't be able to eat...Tears began to fill my eyes! Oh my...how blessed am I... Maybe God used me to answer this man's prayer...to let him know that He cares for Him and knows what goes going through! But, maybe God used this man to show me just how blessed I am and what I take for granted...
He said, "You see, I have cancer!" He pulled up his shirt and pointed to a huge mass that was poking out from his stomach. He said said he knew it wouldn't be much longer. I asked him if knew Jesus. He told me that he did. I asked if I could pray for him and he said that I could. We prayed right there on the sidewalk of McDonalds. Tears just poured from his eyes. He told me he knew that he was going to die and that he was ready to die. He was tired of being in pain and he would be better off dead because this was no life - living this way. I stayed and encouraged him for a few minutes trying to fight back my tears. My prayer is that I showed him the love of Jesus today...that something I said gave him a hope.
You see, everybody has a story! I know Steve's story now...all because I felt compelled to help him...he ended up touching me today!
When I left him, I knew I had done what God wanted me to do! God put him in my path today...I know he did! I've never felt such a feeling to help someone as I did today. I was reminded again of how blessed I am! I have a vehicle that gets me from place to place, I have a roof over my head, clean clothes, money to buy a hot meal, running water, electricity, my health, a job, family, and friends! Sometimes God sends situations our way to remind us of how blessed we are! If you've read this far, please remember Steve in your prayers!
Yes, I have been blessed, God's so good to me! Precious are His thoughts of you and me! There's no way I could count them, there's not enough time, so I'll just thank Him for being so kind. God has been good, so good! I have been blessed!

Prayer But No Obedience

It would seem America has been talking about and playing with religion for far too long and A W Tozer saw the solution several years ago.  A W Tozer died over 50 years ago.

“PRAYER BUT NO OBEDIENCE” – A W Tozer

It is my conviction that much, very much, prayer for and talk about revival these days is wasted energy…

Ignoring the confusion of figures,
I might say that it is hunger that appears to have no object;
it is dreamy wishing that is too weak to produce moral action.

It is fanaticism on a high level for, according to John Wesley,
“a fanatic is one who seeks desired ends
while ignoring the constituted means to reach those ends.”…

It is almost unbelievable how far we will go to avoid obeying God.
We call Jesus “Lord” and beg Him to rejuvenate our souls,
but we are careful to do not the things He says.
When faced with a sin,
a confession or a moral alteration in our life,
we find it much easier to pray half a night than to obey God.

Lost Sheep

posted on Facebook by Jesus Christ is King

Many Christians, when reading the letters of Paul come into contact with verses like "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law.." (Galatians 3:13a)
The first thought that would come into mind is: "The Law is a curse....God cursed people by giving them the law....and now Jesus got rid of that curse (the law)."
Although anyone who has read the front of the book will know that the "curse" of the law is distinct from the law itself.
In Deuteronomy 28, God gives a list of curses that will fall upon the people if they do not obey his commandments. You will go into slavery, you will have no land, you will suffer in hunger and thirst, your children will be snatched away from you...etc, etc
This is the curse of the law Christ redeemed us from (Israel). The people of Galatia were from the lost sheep of Israel (the Northern Kingdom). The word Galatian itself comes from the hebrew word Galut meaning dispersed/exile. Peter in one of his letters also began with an introduction addressing several cities among them being Galatia, he calls them "To God’s elect, the exiles scattered" (1 Peter 1:1)
Paul's letter is to Israelites who were exiled and were without a covenant.
Why were they exiled?
They were cursed because they did not keep God's commandments...instead they began to worship idols. He warned them many times through his prophets yet they did not stop worshiping the works of their hands.
So he gave Israel (The Northern Kingdom) a letter of divorce (Jeremiah 3:8). This might not seem much at first, but if you've read the Torah before (Genesis-Deuteronomy) then you will know that once a husband divorces his wife...and she marries another....she cannot return to her first.
Once he wrote the letter of divorce to Israel (Jer 3:8), he told her to come back (Jer 4:1-2 and following chapters). Although Israel never repented.
So now they are eternally separated from God. A wife who is divorced from her husband...and has moved on to another, is not allowed to return to her first (It's an abomination - Deuteronomy 24:1-4).
But something strange happens....God says he will create a new covenant (Jer 31:31-34)...He will call the people who he called "Not my people" and then call them again "My people" (Hosea 2:23)...He will reclaim the sheep who have gone astray (Ezekiel 34:16).
That's impossible. Once she is divorced and she moved on...it's forbidden. Will God break his own law to create a new covenant with Israel?
Well according to God's law, the only time a woman can remarry another man is when the husband dies (Deuteronomy 25:5).
So now we see something interesting going on. Yahweh (God) must die in order to remarry Israel. Ah.
They believed this was impossible "...remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world." (Ephesians 2:12)
But now hope has come....Yahweh became a human being, Yeshua of Nazareth. He lived a perfect life according to the law and the prophets. He was put to death, although because he was sin-less ... the grave could not hold him. Death is for those who are in sin.
Now a clearer picture is made where Yeshua says: "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." (Matthew 15:24)
The lost sheep that Yeshua keeps referring to in the gospels is the scattered people of Israel. They are as a sheep without a shepherd (Ezekiel 34:5, Matthew 9:36)
Yeshua says:
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10:11)
And in Ezekiel 34, God identifies himself as the "good shepherd" who will regather the "lost sheep"
Yeshua is accused of hanging out with sinners in Luke 15 (We've all heard this right "Jesus hang out with drunks, sinners, and outcasts"). He goes on to give a rhetorical question: "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?" (Lk 15:4)
The people he's "hanging out with" are the lost sheep of Israel. They were the ones who rebelled against God by worshiping idols. (The Pharisees were from the Southern Kingdom, Jews, Not apart of the Northern Kingdom - Israel). So the Jews didn't love their brothers anymore...they called them dogs, sinners, idol worshipers, etc.
Hence, Jesus also says "I have not come to call the righteous (Jews), but sinners (Lost Sheep) to repentance." (Luke 5:32) when he's criticized for eating and hanging with them.
The whole New Testament is about the Lost sheep of Israel, Another example is: The Parable of the "Good Samaritan" (Luke 10:25-37)
A scribe asks Yeshua "Who is my neighbour?"
He replies with a story where a man from Jericho (a Jew) is beaten, robbed and left for dead. A priest saw him, said nothing, and kept walking. Then a levite, saw him, did nothing nothing and kept walking. Then a Samaritan, who was walking by also saw him...he took pity on the man...came, placed bandages on him, poured oil and wine on his wounds and rented for him to stay in until he gets healed.
Jesus asked the scribe "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
The scribe said "The one who had mercy on him."
Who was the Samaritan? A Samaritan. It comes from a city called "Samaria" which was apart of the Northern Kingdom of Israel. He was from one of the lost tribes of Israel.
They eventually began to be called the the Samaritans, the people of Samaria. One of them was the Samaritan woman who met Jesus at the well. She was an Israelite. She asks Jesus "Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?" (Jn 4:2)
Who is Jacob? He is the forefather of all the tribes of Israel.
What does this parable mean to the Scribe? It means you should Love God, and your neighbour...your neighbour is the scattered sheep who you hate so much because they disobeyed God and were separated from the Kingdom.
How is all of this relevant? It's that none of this is taught in churches, but rather twisted to fit what people like to hear.
I hear people often say "We're redeemed from the curse of the law...." but you're a gentile...you were never under the law in the first place.
To the Ephesians (Israelites) he says: Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth.... (Eph 2:11). When the Israelites were separated from the covenant, they became gentiles (not apart of Israel).
So they were placed under a curse...and they're no longer under a curse. They were gentiles, now they're grafted back into the olive branch.
Gentiles (non Israelites) like Europeans were never under the curse of the law. Yet in America, UK, Europe all you hear is "We're redeemed from the curse of the law".
Concerning the Sheep in the Gospels that the "Shepherd" goes back for once they're "lost"....those are the scattered sheep of Israel. If you read the front of the book, you would see Israel being referred to as lost sheep.
Yet in gentile churches you always hear "I was a lost sheep, that's what Jesus was talking about....but he found me! Woo!"
Concerning the Samaritan....you hear "the samaritan was a random person, the point of the parable is that you never know who is your neighbor and you should just love everyone" (I'm sure alot of people think this...whenever someone does something good, they are always called a 'good samaritan' which actually comes from the bible in reference to the lost sheep of Israel)
Concerning marriage and law, many Pastors will look at the New Testament for advice...Such as Romans 7:
Do you not know, brothers and sisters—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law has authority over someone only as long as that person lives? For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.
So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.
-----
He starts off by saying "I am speaking to those who know the law" (yet, people who dont know the law try and interpret what he's saying...he's speaking to those who know the law).
The law of marriage has authority over a person as long as they live...by the law of marriage...the wife is bound to her husband forever (no divorce allowed)....but if her husband dies, she is set free from the LAW of Marriage (Deut. 25:5)...If she commits adultery by going with another man (idol worship)....she is called an adulterous (Hosea 1:2)...but if her husband dies (Yahweh who is God)....she may remarry him again! That is Yahweh in the flesh, Yeshua the Messiah!
Most people go to this verse for marriage advice...some people go to it so they can say "Look! We're no longer under law, we're under grace".
The amount of messages/comments we get is overwhelming. We can't respond to everyone. But If you read this post (and checked the verses cited) and it resonates as being truth to your spirit then consider searching it out. You don't have to be right about everything. You might have read a verse before and thought "These guys are wrong, It says this right here" but you need a teacher who knows the Bible in context to help you understand it better.
